Digital networking for automotive materials
Waelzholz recently participated in the Automotive Meetings as an exhibitor for the second time – this year for the first time in digital form. From April 26 – 29, 2021, we presented our customized steel materials and profiles for automotive applications at the international online trade show for the automotive industry.
In addition to the ability to participate in webinars on industry-related topics, visitors to the digital trade show had the opportunity to learn more about the range of products and services offered by the exhibiting companies at virtual trade show booths. A such, participants could also pay a visit to Waelzholz at its own digital trade show booth. In addition, our materials experts were available for one-on-one discussions during a live chat.
The focus of our trade show appearance was on topics that will have a profound impact on the future, such as lightweight construction, electric vehicles, and hydrogen propulsion. We also held interesting discussions on traditional materials for automotive applications, however, such as our zinc phosphate coated steel strip for bucket tappets or our flat wire products for windshield wiper blades.
