Electrical steel strip in accordance with DIN EN 10106

Standard grades for use in electrical machinery

DIN EN 10106 conforming electrical steel strip grades are our standard grades for many traditional applications. These grades are defined as non-grain-oriented, finally annealed electrical steel strip. The dimensional tolerances conform to DIN EN 10106. We can also provide tighter tolerances exceeding those stipulated by the DIN EN 10106 standard upon request to meet your specific product requirements.

Low and high-alloyed electrical steel strip

The DIN EN 10106 standard also stipulates the maximum core losses as well as the minimum magnetic polarization values for these products. The grade spectrum ranges from low-alloyed steels, which are highly-permeable and have excellent thermal conductivity, to high-alloyed steels, which have low core losses. All DIN EN 10106 conforming grades can be coated with our bonding varnish or traditional insulating varnishes. For the standard grades in accordance with DIN EN 10106, we will deliver HS variations (e.g. M270-50A HS) upon request. We would be happy to provide you with the material best suited to your specific project requirements.
